Pozo is from Argentina, and left a message on AAK hydraulic cartridge valve website the day before yesterday: I saw a customer case that AAK hydraulic counterbalance valve has 1 additional function compared to its peers. We also have similar difficulties. Can AAK customize the hydraulic counterbalance valve according to our parameter requirements to meet our equipment requirements? After communication, it was learned that Pozo's lift experienced shaking and impact when the load was lowered, resulting in unstable system. Pozo contacted several hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturers in China but made no substantial progress.

According to the dissected diagram of the hydraulic counterbalance valve sample he emailed, as well as the schematic diagram of the lift hydraulic system, it is very similar to the one customized by AAK for a Peruvian customer a while ago. The overflow area of the hydraulic counterbalance valve port undergoes a sudden change, which cannot timely buffer the pressure peak generated by load impact. I showed him a diagram of how AAK solves the overflow area of the hydraulic counterbalance valve port. Pozo requested AAK to make samples of hydraulic counterbalance valve, and today we received his bank slip for the development fee. The optimization plan that we proposed to Pozo is as follows:

1. The hydraulic counterbalance valve sleeve is equipped with a transverse through hole to form the main hole section of the valve sleeve, a reducing hole section of the valve sleeve, and a valve sleeve flow groove connected to the fourth oil port on the outer wall of the valve sleeve.

2. In the main valve body of the AAK hydraulic counterbalance valve, there is a fixed first valve seat. The main valve spool slides and fits with the main valve body, dividing the inner chamber of the main valve body into the first and second chambers connected to the oil inlet, as well as the control chamber. The second chamber is equipped with a second valve seat and elastic components.

3. There are multiple U-shaped grooves along the axial direction on the circumferential surface of the main valve spool. The valve spool is located in the main hole section of the valve sleeve and can move left and right. On the left side of the second valve spool reducing section, there is a protrusion for opening and closing the valve seat transition hole section, and on the right side of the protrusion, there is a valve spool throttle hole. When the pressure oil enters, the valve spool begins to move left and gradually exposes various radial throttle holes. The flow area can be relaxed and increased, and the hydraulic counterbalance valve can timely buffer the pressure peak generated by load impact.
