The hydraulic flow control valve used in the Middle East has to be replaced in 6

:
Friedlich, from Wirth company in Germany, sold the drawworks of oil drilling rigs to the Middle East at the beginning of last year. Six months later, the customer complained that the disc brake controlled by the hydraulic cylinder of the drawworks was weak, resulting in equipment shutdown. The reason was that the hydraulic flow control valve in the hydraulic system was stuck. Friedlich wondered that the same batch of drilling rigs and drawworks had been sold to Canada, Central Europe and other markets for almost 1 year, and there was no such abnormality. The original manufacturer of the hydraulic flow control valves is not sure why it is stuck for half a year, but is willing to offer 30 hydraulic flow control valves for replacement and send them to the Middle East. Friedlich was very worried about such solution without knowing the cause of the stuck valve spool. Sure enough, a batch of hydraulic flow control valves had to be replaced 6 months later. This frequent after-sales service not only costs a lot, but also makes the customer dissatisfied. The boss asked Friedlich to purchase new hydraulic flow control valves with high temperature resistance and durability of more than 1 year as soon as possible to replace the current ones.

Friedlich found AAK on the Internet and left a message to us: why does the same hydraulic flow control valves have twice the service life difference in different working scenarios? I was puzzled when I saw this message. I learned the above story after communication. Our engineer checked the drawing of hydraulic flow control valve sent by Friedlich, and there was no problem from a technical point of view. The probability is that the high temperature in the Middle East and the high-frequency operation of the drawworks will lead to high hydraulic oil temperature and thermal deformation of the valve sleeve, which will reduce the matching clearance between the valve sleeve and the valve spool, affecting the movement of the valve spool until the valve spool is stuck. Friedlich learned that when the drawworks work, the oil temperature is above 70 ℃, while the oil temperature of the normal hydraulic system is 30 ℃ -50 ℃. Friedlich seemed to agree with our analysis and asked AAK to send samples of hydraulic flow control valves as soon as possible.

AAK engineers know that the core of this hydraulic flow control valve lies in the material selection of the valve sleeve. It depends on the job of our full-time material engineers. After 2 months' efforts, 6 kinds of materials were tested, and a special hot work die steel was determined as the valve sleeve for the hydraulic flow control valve. Its heat fatigue resistance and toughness fully adapt to high-temperature hydraulic oil, and the hardness and wear resistance of the material can also fully withstand the wear of more than 1 year. Eight months after the samples of AAK hydraulic flow control valves were sent out, Friedlich informed us that there was no complaint of valve spool jamming when AAK hydraulic flow control valves were used. I told him that within 12 months, if there was a complaint of valve spool jamming, we would refund all expenses.
